...how do you think people test new medicines? I can't just tell someone to drink a vial of something experimental and see what happens, that's so irresponsible! You need to test on the closest thing to a live person you can find, to make sure it works when you use it on real patients!

That's not even getting into posthumous tissue donations and organ transplants- I'm pretty sure I can manage a Pneuma transfusion with our current equipment, but I don't know what we're going to do if someone needs a new heart. Corpses are a hospital's best resource!
