Training Log 3: Revelations

As we have more newcomers again, I will be holding another training session. It will be the same place as before- the part in Limbo. There will be refreshments as well, so even if you do not wish to spar please feel free to come and observe!

[It's that time again! Lion has his little (now a bit beat up since he keeps using the same space) claimed track of land in Limbo set up- wide spaces for people to pair off, a fold-out table with snacks and chairs for sitting and chatting. And of course himself off to the side with his lance in hand- willing to take all challengers and give tips and advice to anyone that comes to him!

He does though, go seeking someone specific out during all this: Chiron]

My friend, may I speak with you in private for a moment?

[There is no feeling of dread here that's just your imagination!]

((ooc: As usual this is a mixer post, so feel free to toss up starters as desired! I will have one for Lion as well if anyone wants to poke him in specific- but use this as a chance to show off- I mean try out new powers you've gained since last time!))

Chiron, please-! Knowing it's so clear is already embarrassing enough.

[He sighs]

Though as I said, it's not something we are hiding. So it was a matter of time I suppose.

It's interesting, really. [He's still smiling, though he looks away.] The idea of finding...companionship in the afterlife. Given that it's fated to end once one goes through the gears.

Is that not also the case for the living?

[ he smiles almost coyly]

...Ha. I suppose you've got me there.

Though I do wonder. What might happen if we run into those we knew in life, but are not Executors.

Not Executors...

[They had already spoken of the fellow Exectors that they knew before, but...]

I've thought about it before. I can't say if I would rush to them or run away, honestly.

[Even if others forget your name...]

If I find here down here, and she does not know me...

[I will always remember.]

If she has forgotten, I-I do not know what would become of me. [It feels very important, alarmingly so, the idea of being remembered. But something larger looming over him than just the words. It's a feeling of near panic sweeping over him, and battling it, something bitter and cold.

He shakes his head, pressing a hand to it as though to push the troubling thoughts back.]

Forgive me...that was maudlin of me

[He's surprised by the show of vulnerability, but his face shows no judgment]

Even if she did... those memories would still lay within her- like they do with us. Sleeping, but still there, and real.

How real would that really be?

[He takes a breath, holds it, lets it go. Relaxes only marginally, but relaxes nonetheless.]

It happened, it was real, and that should be enough. [Even if it doesn't feel like it.] I...apologize. This past memory really has gotten me out of sorts.
