Training Log 3: Revelations

As we have more newcomers again, I will be holding another training session. It will be the same place as before- the part in Limbo. There will be refreshments as well, so even if you do not wish to spar please feel free to come and observe!

[It's that time again! Lion has his little (now a bit beat up since he keeps using the same space) claimed track of land in Limbo set up- wide spaces for people to pair off, a fold-out table with snacks and chairs for sitting and chatting. And of course himself off to the side with his lance in hand- willing to take all challengers and give tips and advice to anyone that comes to him!

He does though, go seeking someone specific out during all this: Chiron]

My friend, may I speak with you in private for a moment?

[There is no feeling of dread here that's just your imagination!]

((ooc: As usual this is a mixer post, so feel free to toss up starters as desired! I will have one for Lion as well if anyone wants to poke him in specific- but use this as a chance to show off- I mean try out new powers you've gained since last time!))

[She summons a sharp-pointed halberd (scaled down to human size, of course).]

It might have been something I used when I was alive, but unfortunately, I haven't got enough memories to tell. I know I would have piloted an ARMANOX, but nothing about its weapons.

[ Monarch studies the halberd, considering it. ]

ARMANOX....?

[ Nope. Drawing a blank. ]

A large magical construct one pilots. No matter. It's tied to a competition I was in, so it's nothing to do with what we're doing here.

[ourtomorrow]

[ He nods. ] It's possible.

[ What does that mean about him and his whip.....? Maybe nothing. It's all conjecture. ]

In any case, we can say this. We have these weapons for a reason.

So you think they all reflect us, then? Or just that we're all supposed to be varied so we'll work as a complete unit?

[ourtomorrow]

Both are possible. Does anyone else remember a version of their weapon?

I know Phoenix does, at least. I'd bet on Sword, too, but the man's too insufferable to ask.

[ourtomorrow]

.....Ah.

[ Monarch has not met Sword. But he thinks he can suppose what Sword's weapon is. ]

That's enough to stop looking like coincidence. I don't -

[ He looks at his whip. ]

It might come. Even if I must say it doesn't seem to fit you much.

You don't think so, either....

[ He blinks beneath his mask. ]

[emberserker]

Have you seen yourself? Normally, not in your Executor outfit. How you act.

[ourtomorrow]

[ He nods. ]

I agree. Nothing about my Executor identity makes sense to me yet. Not this form, or my name.

You don't look like the butterfly, so maybe the ruler. There have been very young kings, historically.

[ourtomorrow]

I don't know...

[ Would someone who lived in a home like the one he remembers be a king...? But he can't say he wasn't, so he doesn't want to outright contradict her...

Except. One thing does point that way beyond the setting. ]

I have an older brother. Who's - more skilled.

Well, maybe he was illegitimate or he abdicated. One never knows. I'd suspect most of us had siblings, the way this is going.

[ourtomorrow]

[ ....From the conversations he's had with other people he knows better, he, uh, sees her point.

Still not sure royalty would live in the kind of place he's seen in his memories but, like she says, he just doesn't know. ]

I don't know. I'm sure I'll find out one of these days. I only remember one person so far, an enemy.

[ourtomorrow]

We're really making the best of what little we have, aren't we.

[ He offers half a smile. He remembers more people than that (possibly? can't put names to them), but Wolfsbane is doing so much regardless! It really is who they are now that matters, even though they won't fully understand their situation until they remember more. ]
