The Heist

They had been investigating for weeks, planning and setting up for what seemed like forever. But now was the time for everything to go into action. One team dressed up and settled into various undercover positions in the casino- including Lion himself over at the slots, in case he needed to call Greta and let her know someone was calling her out. Though hopefully, word of mouth would find her first.

Another at the bank, Mona using her Executor weapon to prove they could break-in at any time. It was all or nothing now- either way Greta was about to learn there were way more Executors than she previously assumed.

That is, if the Executors were right in their assumptions. But after last time who knows what might happen...

[Hi dad, as far as wine dad is concerned, nothing got hecked up at all and it all went swimmingly! Chiron is perhaps less exuberant than he might be at such a success, but it hardly means he's in a bad mood.]

Ah, Achilles! Good to see you well. How are the children?

[ His tail shoots up when he hears his name called but it goes right back down when he realizes it's just Chiron. That relief seems to hit him again as he thinks about when he didn't know what to do before, how he had wished one of the other older Executors like Chiron had been there to help him think through it a bit quicker... it makes him glad to see the other now. ]

Chiron... they are doing well. They both did wonderfully today, Monarch especially. Without his quick thinking I don't know how this might have turned out.

[He claps his fellow tall guy on the shoulder because he can reach Achilles' shoulder thank gods.] Your friend Greta was wondering about you, but she won't be a problem anymore. Not until I'm sure she'll turn into something ugly and nasty downstairs in some last ditch effort to keep us from progressing, but that's for another day.

[ Oh that gets a wry smile out of him. ]

Was she now? I suppose I'll have to be sure to say hello in the underside when we get there - if she even recognizes me at all with my own changes. [ or after. hers. ]

She won't know what to do with you! Your wings were quite memorable, though I imagine finding clothing that fits is much easier. [There is that tail, but that still isn't the same level as two big ol' bird wings.]

Oh, much easier. [ He fluffs up the faux fur collar of the jacket he immediately went and bought because he is a simple dog man who just wants to be soft and fluffy.

But then he gets a bit more sullen. ]

...Did everything else go well on your end, by the way? Obviously Greta's been got but..

Ah, well. [He waves a hand, flippant.] There were a few moments where it got a bit hairy, but it didn't go wrong. I think she would have figured it out eventually, but we did give ourselves up in relatively short order. Mostly so we could openly taunt her at that point.

That's... a relief to hear. When Monarch asked me to warn Sir Ruin of what was about to occur I simply thought it was a good chance to give everyone an update. I... did not stop to think that... not all of the phones would be set to a quiet mode...

I... am ashamed to admit that I panicked somewhat, fearing the worst...

You worry too much, my dear. At no point did we suggest stealth was a priority in the middle of a casino. With the noise in there, I'm truly shocked anyone even noticed. Think nothing of it.
