[So. Sword going at it with a training dummy is not that uncommon. In the month or so he's been here, he's pretty much seen beating the shit out of a dummy for a few hours a day.

This is a bit Much, though. He's been at it since breakfast, stopped for a quick lunch, and went right back to training. It's now nearly dinner, and he hasn't stopped since.

You've no concept of exhaustion, have you. [Casual observation. It is...entirely possible Sword doesn't see a need for sleep or rest, he supposes.] Or is the idea to go at it until you fall over and then sleep for several days? For a given definition of days.

Mm, single-minded, laser-focused, determined to a fault, fervently training, not terribly personable... She's got more of a hair trigger than you do, granted, but then, I doubt anyone is wound quite as tightly as she is.

She's a brat who thinks anyone who doesn't like her is objectively wrong. At least I know I'm not personable.

I wasn't under the impression she thought anyone liked her, given no one likes her, particularly. Except perhaps Veil. I think she's a very conflicted woman with anger issues. Perhaps she has to work through all that before moving forward to a new life.

If that were the case, she wouldn't be so offended by me not liking her and calling her on her bullshit.

There was no reason for her to be so offended with Ruin and Lion, either. She's an odd chocobo, that one.

She can be odd and a pain. I don't know if she knows quite what she wants. But then, do any of us? There's a lot of anger in her and seemingly nowhere to put it all.

I don't forgive her for her ridiculousness, of course.

And you two do not strike me as the type to stand for some mediation to work out your issues. Whatever they may be.

I just want her to leave me alone unless we're working together. I don't see what's so hard to understand about that.

I imagine no one will let you work together if it can at all be helped. It's clear your personalities clash, even if they're similar in some surface ways.

Still...perhaps I'll talk with her. She may not see reason per se, but it's worth a shot.
