There's still sound and chatter, of course, but compared to where you've been spending all your time until now. Welcome to Superbia. Since he has nothing but time and scrolling power on his hands, Ruin will eventually uncover some... interesting things.

First is that this loop has been going on for a while. It takes a good two hours of scrolling through the two-week looped entries before anything changes and even then, it's hard to immediately identify the difference. But with a big of looking, it becomes apparent that the two week loop was once one month long.

Another few hours of scrolling will uncover the fact that even before that, the loop was once even longer, clocking in at three months.

... There's still more to see.

Well now he's onto something. It's going to take time, of course, but the more loop shifts he finds hopefully the easier it will be to recognize them. It also helps that he's good with math. Before he goes much further back he's going to count how many times the one month loop occurred. Ctrl+F the first book checked in that loop to see how many repeats. Then move back to the three month loop and do the same. Do they occur the same number of times?

And then... he keeps going. Everything resets in 2 weeks anyway, there's no reason not to hyperfocus on this for at least a loop. It isn't as though he wants to do much sleeping considering what he's become and the fact that he's also keenly aware of Lion's absence at his side. Surely the best way to bury unwanted feelings is research. Lots of it.

Sylvain's diligent mathematics will net him some... pretty concerning answers! The two week loop has occurred sixty seven times so far and the one month loop had occurred a hundred and nine times before giving way to the two week loop.

And since he's still going, there's no need to be coy about it.

Three months – two hundred and sixty one times.

Eight months – three hundred and five times.

One year...
