With the dragon of greed thoroughly slain, the Executors are at last free to escape the sensory hell of the Avaritia Underside and descend to the next Layer. There's still sound and chatter, of course, but compared to where you've been spending all your time until now. Welcome to Superbia. And make yourself comfortable... because now that you've arrived, the stairs that guided you down here have disappeared and you won't be leaving any time soon. Feel free to use this arrival log to chronicle your initial misadventures in the Pride Layer of Purgatory. [ He approaches Miss President and holds out the box he brought, opening the lid to reveal a strawberry roll cake inside. ]

I thought I would come by and thank you kids for all your hard work.

Oh, that's wonderful! I think everyone would really appreciate it!

[ She hurries over to take the box from him. ]

Does it need to be kept somewhere cool?

If you have a cool place to store it that would be ideal, I think but it should also be fine if left out for a few hours.

Where are the others anyway?

[ She'll put it in this little cupboard off to the side and out of the sun, then. ]

Oh, I let them know that they could leave early today if they liked! We've all been so busy, so I thought it would be nice if they could have some time to relax.

[ She seems perfectly pleasant so far and not at all like the past two Authorities… which makes him feel like this “lead” could be a bust after all. Still, it’s best to be thorough especially given the others’ suspicions and the possibility of getting extra help should she be more like Alice from Invidia or, even better, another awakened eidolon. ]

You know, I don’t think we’ve had a chance to be properly introduced yet; I’m Mr. Cygnia, the new guidance counsellor, though most people have also been calling me simply Mr. Achilles.

[ Faculty usually just use last names right? Good thing he knew the exact one he could use. ]

If he’s going to try and do what he did last layer with Greta then he needs to do it now. ]

Quite well, in fact. It’s much nicer here at this school than it was in Avaritia.

That's so nice to hear! This really is a wonderful school, so knowing that being here makes people so happy... well, it really makes me happy, too!
