Well, it's nice to feel appreciated. I should hope you'll get accustomed to all this soon enough; who knows what we'll find in the next Layer.

Each correlates to a certain sin; have you gotten that explanation yet? Superbia was Pride, though it wasn't as easily tied to that as the ones before it.

Envy. The Authority here must be the most popular, the envy of everyone else.

Superbia seems to have been an outlier in that respect, though one might argue that the school would take pride in its Student Council President. I do wonder what that means for the next Layer.

We'll have to deduce that quickly. If the Authority most embodies their sin, that narrows down the suspects.

Oh, good, at least you're catching on. We could use someone who puts thought into their work after Monarch and Ruin decided to stay behind -- not that the latter was a loss, of course.

I wouldn't say proper Executors do that. But you know, sometimes people simply choose to step away. It's less concerning to this lot than when they just disappear.

It doesn't change his resolve, though. ] I'll contribute all I can.

Good, we could use the help with all this nonsense. Who knows what the next Layer is going to bring. I do hope we won't be trapped there again.

[ He has some ideas himself, but it can't hurt to get the opinion of someone with so much more experience. ]

Train, first of all. If you know your abilities inside and out, then you'll be much better able to fight with the rest of us. New developments may always come up, but even then, you'll be able to adapt better.

[ He nods. So fighting is a major component...

Though it's also possible that's the component Wolfsbane is most familiar or comfortable(?) with. Training can help there, too. If he feels prepared for combat he can focus on forming his own opinions as they explore. ]

And try not to trust any suspicious Eidolons, despite how happy some of us are to do it. Authorities aren't always as nice as Miss President, you know.
