time ticks on
The sense of unease this generates is amplified by the reaction of the accompanying Executors – Rei seems particularly susceptable to the drowsiness inducing effect and while Birdie doesn't seem to be affected, she's nevertheless oddly quiet and a little brooding, like she has something on her mind. Either way, it seems wise to prepare for whatever may lay ahead before proceeding. Take your time to spar, train or whatever you need to do before proceeding to the next Layer... | |

[As always, one of the best and worst things about Medic is her deep and absolutely sincere love of the world. Humanity has a lot of problems- in her opinion, the biggest one is the badly-designed joints, especially the knees- but she still takes a genuine delight in seeing other minds at work.]
[Especially when she can open up a skull or two and take a look at them directly.]
They aren't just mindlessly recreating things they were familiar with when they were alive, they're actually making new works of fiction. New ideas! Even in a semi-conscious state, they're still creating- aren't the implications for how the human mind functions fascinating?

When they go to the other side, become someone wholly new, all that they have created, all the potential, will be lost. They may become a sniveling simpleton beyond the confines of this place. What does it matter?
