With the Executors now victorious over the first layer of Purgatory, the only way for them to go is further down. Thanks to the combined efforts of Kingslayer, Ariel and Mona, a path forward has been opened that leads down to the next layer of Purgatory. Rei looks ill at ease about this. If asked, she'll brush off the concern a bit, explaining that she's never gone this far down into Purgatory before and she doesn't know what lays ahead. It might be even more dangerous than the Underside. She's just glad they're all heading down together. So, once everyone's collected themselves... head down they to to the next layer of Purgatory... Welcome to Invidia. Congratulations on unlocking your first major location change in Can Cry! Feel free to use this arrival log to chronicle your initial misadventures in the city of Invidia. Investigation is strongly encouraged here as from here on out, plot progression will moved along by player involvement. If you want to unlock the next Underside, get investigating! [The question, then, is who reacts to Brainiac's... Typically Brainiac reaction. With some of the team having seen her fight, they're aware she's at least somewhat competent now, which may help... Maybe.]

Shiny. How descriptive of you. [Wolfsbane rolls her eyes.] I'm just surprised it isn't the exact same city again. It's a different one, but small steps nonetheless.

I know, it's actual progress instead of just 'the same thing but now it's some terrifying nightmare version'!

... Though, uh, are you also seeing the exact same person on all the screens? Or is that just me?

For now, though, we gotta look around first. Find some things, investigate, all that.

... I wonder if there's a safer way back to the sane part of Limbo?

Well, it didn't have hordes of weird monsters trying to re-kill us! That makes it the sane part compared to the part where there were the hordes of weird monsters trying to re-kill us.

Did you not agree to fight them just like the rest of us did? Or were you just going along with it for the powers and memories?

Eh, I signed up for it, I don't regret that, but shortcuts so I don't have to do a buncha fighting every time I wanna say check out the library again is nice too, you know?

I don't suppose this level's got one. Then again, these people don't seem to like to share.

Yeah... It's kinda weird to see that, to me. I think, at least.

And also socially good! Like, all of us walking around in one group would probably get really awkward-like over time.

[In Brainiac's past life, the phrase 'field trip' probably meant solo, so having a full group felt different.]

... Yeah. I wish I remembered more about who I was, really. Can't help but think that it might help, for one.

All I really remember is stuff about music... I guess maybe that's all there is to me?
