Despite the initial hostility, you've gotten a lot of important information to chew over: Esme, the one who holds Authority over Invidia has made it very clear that she opposes the Executors and their intended goal of repairing the Cogs of Renewal at the bottom of Purgatory. And thanks to that, and Esme's degree of control over Invidia, the gang are stuck here until they can find a way to bypass Esme and continue descending the layers of Purgatory.

Surely, everyone will be on the same page about how to handle that!

Either way, with discussions with Esme wrapped up and the Executors on their way, now's a good time to put your heads together and see if you can't work out where to proceed from here.

Seems as though it's been some time since her last event... She may not risk it for...some more time. But as I said, she does seem to appreciate you just a touch. Her blatant ignorance of your condition aside. She may entertain you just for something different. What has she to fear from us if we cannot harm her?

But to ask for another audience might also draw suspicion... Perhaps in the guise of wanting to speak to her more, such as what Veil or Mona would care to do? [However inadvisably.] Or, skip the private angle altogether.

Call her out. Threaten her power publicly. She's sure to answer, and then whittle away at her until she shows her true face. Mm, it's an idea, but it needs tweaking...

'Appreciate' is a strong word I don't know that I would use. The fact that we were somewhat able to speak tells me very little for her true opinion of me, all things considered.

...I'm not sure which angle would be the ideal one to take. To go against her openly seems ill-advised, as she holds power of both charisma and whatever else her authority over this level truly grants her. But I also have doubts she would be careless enough to speak with any of us privately.

...And I would hesitate to ask anyone who was not present to meet with her, given who ranks among that number.
