Training Log 2: Still Trainin'

i will be holding another training session in the park on the limbo layer tomorrow afternoon for anyone that would like to attend

[there's actually a lot more spaces here than I'm gonna make you see because he still isn't sure how to send messages and keeps hitting enter instead. eventually it goes through though!]

[Limbo- Training]

[He's here just as he said he would be! He even apparently walked off with one of the cafe tables to put snacks on like a good host. Feel free to practice on your own or poke Lion himself to throw down. He's already doing stretches and picking up heavy things like giant rocks and people.]

[After training Lion is here, in a towel, glaring at the water]

[he hesitates to continue, but after a moment]

I didn't notice before, considering how... upset I was the last time I saw your hands, but... your Executor mark is fascinating. Has anyone described it to you yet?

My what, now?

[Nobody told him about anything except what was on his face, and obviously he had no idea anything was wrong with his hands. Such was kind of the result of a) being blind and 2) wearing gloves constantly.]

What's wrong with my hands?

Oh, well I suppose that answers that. When we became Executors a mark appears on our bodies- Rei has one as well, and mine is on my chest. I have to assume it has to do with our powers. Yours appear to be blades curled around your finger, like a ring.

Ah... I don't wish to be rude, but there are also further burns similar to your eyes. It looks like-

[He ponders, trying to recall]

[he's not sure how he knows what that kind of damage looks like, but it feels correct]

I suppose it makes logical sense that Executors would bear some manner of identifying mark, now that I think upon it. [He brought his left hand a little closer to his chest, briefly unsure what exactly to do with this knowledge.] Strange that it would be something like that, I might expect wings given the name.

...Do they look particularly bad? [He brought his right hand to his left shoulder, tracing healed over lines that had perhaps once been ashen burns.]

They're well healed, and if you didn't notice before now I must assume they don't affect your movement. One can't ask for more when it comes to scaring. It's not especially distracting.

And the mark is... pleasing, even if it's mysterious. My own looks like a star, so they don't seem to be directly connected to our titles in any literal way.

I didn't notice them, honestly. I'd not have known about either if you never pointed it out.

[A small shrug.]

Perhaps they've some other meaning we'll discern later on.

Ah... perhaps I should not have then?

No, I meant nothing of the sort. I would rather have known they were there than be completely unaware of the fact. For all I know, that might be important information later on.

Still, I intended to compliment the Executor mark and instead made you worry over your appearance. It was tactless.

Nonsense. I asked a question and you answered honestly, your help is appreciated. It is not my appearance that bothers me for my own sake, only that I wouldn't wish to startle anyone else.

Well, I can say for sure it is not startling in that regard. Certainly noticeable, but not frightening in any way.
