 [Lion had been looking for Ruin after the show with no luck- it was worthwhile thanks to Chiron's advice, but the actual goal was fruitless. Ruin was nowhere to be found.

The next most obvious place to look was back in Limbo- and Lion intended to return anyway. Sleeping in that woman's home seemed a bit too morbid for his tastes. He doesn't find him in the Executor house, but he finally finds sign of the man in the park. A bit of torn up earth that suggested a lance. Hoofprints. He follows the mud to the fountain... and the passage to the Limbo Underside.

... that was concerning. But perhaps he wanted to train before their upcoming mission? He arrived after the last one, after all. So Lion makes his way down, his armor appearing like a second skin as he does so, on guard against the beasts that still lingered within.]

[Lion turns a little red from the close quarters, but he could never argue with giving Chiron somewhere to sit]

Rest does sound lovely, doesn't it?

[Give him a moment. Sit? Sit up there with them? Oh??? There's somewhere in that moment where that seems...not wrong, perhaps- improper? There's a decline on his lips, but...that's silly. That's just silly. So. He will squeeze himself in next to Lion. And a hand goes back on him for more Gentle Heals.]

[Even as he says it though he's yawning, trying to cover his mouth but only half heartedly. It's been a long, emotional kind of day.]

[thankfully Lion's wounds are much less severe. His tendons over extended and maybe a slight tear. Once that is settled the rest is just bruising. When Ruin yawns it makes him yawn too]

If not me, then Medic. What use is a healer if there is nothing to heal? I-- [He pauses, looks like he's going to yawn, but deliberately stifles it. His words take on that sleepy post-yawn quality though.] --imagine these powers are not unlike any other skill. Improvement with time and use.

Well... by that logic we should do this more often.

[Ruin snorts a laugh, shifting his arm a little to nudge Lion but then curling it around him as well.]

[It takes him a moment to notice what Ruin is doing, but doesn't feel put off by it. It's oddly comfortable? Like he's known him for far longer than he has.]

Not too much though... I'd like to keep my arm. Hmm, I think it's as good as it's going to get, Chiron. A little bruising won't re-kill me.

[The healing touch stops, even as Chiron shakes his head.] A little bruising will still be a nuisance, but if you insist. And if you two run off and beat each other half to re-death again, I'm smacking your extremely thick skulls together until something sinks in.

[For how much he's been encouraging Lion to lean on him Ruin's starting to slump now, leaning heavily on the arm of the couch. Who'd have thought... it's a lot easier to let himself be sleepy, or even fall asleep with the warm weight of another person against him.]

I doubt something like this will happen again, regardless of what Ruin says. Speaking of-

[he starts to get up, yawning again]

He's about to fall asleep, so I should retire as well. And I suggest you do that same Chiron. I could even make you some tea to help repay your efforts?

[His eyebrows slllowly raise over half-lidded eyes. One is near sleep, therefore the other should as well, hm?] Now I must wonder if you shall be retiring to the same room. Together.

[It probably doesn't help matters that, the moment he starts to move, Ruin is whining at the loss of that soothing warmth, reaching out to try to tug Lion back to him. He doesn't realize how it sounded which says a lot about how tired he is. What Chiron says however, gets a vague snort of amusement (though he doesn't stop trying to lean on Lion to make him stay) ]

Caught that did you?

[Which... Makes no sense to anyone but his brain is supplying logic that no one remotely awake would follow. But.... Chiron you did catch that hole in his lip in your healing, didn't you? ]

[Lion is caught off foot so much by Chiron that its embarrassingly easy to pull him back down]

[yet when Ruin says "you caught that" he DOES look at his mouth with something like guilt]
