There's still sound and chatter, of course, but compared to where you've been spending all your time until now. Welcome to Superbia. And make yourself comfortable... because now that you've arrived, the stairs that guided you down here have disappeared and you won't be leaving any time soon. Feel free to use this arrival log to chronicle your initial misadventures in the Pride Layer of Purgatory. [As Lion is passing through the campus courtyard, he might notice a boy heading his way with the intent of not exactly heading towards him, but instead making his way to the student dorms. He looks...run ragged to say the least, what with the black eye and slightly roughed up clothes. He's definitely been in some sort of fight, but fortunately that was hours ago now. He's been "disciplined" and sent on his way with more information coming out than he had going in.

Gods, he can't believe any of this is happening. He just wants to go to bed. Maybe then he'll wake up finding out this was all a bad dream.

But since Lion is making it a point to evesdrop, he'll definitely hear the kid mutter to himself as he passes.]

--f we're stuck here, what are we even supposed to do the whole time? Blend in, I get it, but for how long? Ugh...

[Oh THAT'S interesting. He should probably call out to the boy. Or maybe follow him to over hear more?

He does neither. He reaches out as Amber passes and scruffs him as easily as a kitten.]

[Ah. Well. This wouldn't be the first time he's been manhandled today. But by an adult??

Amber squawks when he feels the back of his uniform grabbed up, and before he knows it he's briefly walking on air as Lion pulls him abruptly back from the direction he'd been previously walking. Turns out, Lion is hard to miss, so it's not like Amber has to look around far to see who's grabbed him.]

W-what- hey! What do you think you're-?!

[Shit, what does he do? This guy is part of the faculty, right? So he's a Specter? And even if he tried to tell him what's going on, he wouldn't understand. But that doesn't mean he's any more prepared to deal with, uh.

[He's supporting all of Amber's weight so easily it's... well not comfortable, but not painful even with his feet completely off the ground]

S...so what if I did? I'm a new student, so- of course I'd want to blend in.

Have you met a young girl close to your age recently? With white hair?

[And as quick as the sus arrived it's gone, and he puts the boy down]

You are a new Executor?

[Amber nods, a relieved sigh escaping him once Lion finally puts him back down on his feet.]

Y-yeah...got the whole light show to prove it and everything. I guess you...believe me, when I say that?

I do, I went through something similar some time ago. We are brothers in arms.

[alchemistake]

[That sure is a fancy way to put it.]

You make it sound like we're a bunch of knights, or something.

Well, not in the literal sense. But we are a group bound by a shared goal and purpose. Is it that different?
