third loop
![]() On midnight of the fourteenth day, it happens again. Time rewinds itself back to the Executors' starting point, putting them right back at the beginning of the loop. This is now their third time experiencing the events of the two-week Superbia loop and while they've made some good progress on the investigation, they still have a ways to go in bringing it to and end and escaping. Use this log to investigate during this two-week time period and drop a comment down to the Investigation Request subheader if you'd like to explore. If you're continuing or building off of a previous loop's investigation results, please link to it in your comment. If you need a refresher on the loop mechanics, check out this post. Good luck, Executors. | |

She will eventually get caught by the faculty member who oversees the dorms, though, and be sent back to bed after a light scolding.

Is there anything or anywhere in particular she's checking out?

But if Etoile looks around in there a little more, she'll find something else – tucked away carefully at the back of the cupboard. It's hard to spot, if you're not already looking for something that's out of place.
It's a photograph.
Take a look?

Miss President

If he's looking for Miss President, she's relatively easy to find – she's in the Student Council room as usual.
How does Chiron want to approach this conversation?

"Good afternoon~! Am I speaking to the Student Council President?" Yes he is we know he is. Does this take place before or after the knock on the door? Yes. "Ah, so you're the one to talk to about getting students involved in activities and celebrations, yes?"

There doesn't seem to be any clear indication of what might have resulted in the butterfly being here as opposed to anywhere else on the Layer, though.

No matter how awkward to access the destination ends up being. There is an wurme waiting(?) for him. He is filled with determination.

It seems to be the same butterfly the other Executors had spotted on the previous layer. It's perched atop a flower and it tinkles gently when Monarch approaches.

It's delicate. So....so memory is this fragile a thing.
Monarch will step closer quite carefully indeed, lean down, and offer his hand, palm-up. Hello. He's a friend.
Would you like him to learn what you have to say?

mona will start asking around both students and faculty about the previous student council president, and she'll try to phrase it casually, talking about how the current president works so hard and since mona is new here, what was the previous one like?
she's also going to try showing people the photo etoile shared with them on her phone to ask about the other students in the picture. she'll keep miss president herself out of the picture, only showing the other students

The response she gets when asking about the previous student council president is... a little more interesting, though. For the most part, people just let her talk but eventually there comes a point where they stop her, looking confused and ask something in the vein of: what is she talking about? There was no previous student council president. Miss President has always been head of the student council. Always.
Hm.
Gym???

It's going to take him awhile to really take stock of all the damage. But, aside from all of the wreckage, how does the gym look? Like... structurally. Have the walls or floors taken any damage? Broken windows and light fixtures, that sort of stuff.
