SUPERBIA

On midnight of the fourteenth day, it happens again. Time rewinds itself back to the Executors' starting point, putting them right back at the beginning of the loop. This is now their third time experiencing the events of the two-week Superbia loop and while they've made some good progress on the investigation, they still have a ways to go in bringing it to and end and escaping. Use this log to investigate during this two-week time period and drop a comment down to the Investigation Request subheader if you'd like to explore. After meeting Miss President last loop, Etoile is going to head to the student council’s room. Under the guise of looking for some paperwork for the theatre club, she’s going to look for anything that looks off or shouldn’t be there.

First of all, Etoile will notice that the room looks basically exactly the same as she did when she left last loop – as in, literally the same. Any changes made to the room seem to have been retained with this loop.

Is there anything or anywhere in particular she's checking out?

She's going to start in the direction of where Miss President was getting the tea and snacks from.

It's just a little cupboard on the wall! Nothing too fancy. If she pokes around inside, she'll find pots of tea leaves, a tea set and packets of sweets and snacks from the school store. That sort of thing.

But if Etoile looks around in there a little more, she'll find something else – tucked away carefully at the back of the cupboard. It's hard to spot, if you're not already looking for something that's out of place.

It's a photograph.

She is absolutely going to take a look.

It's a group of four girls, stood in front of a sign that reads GRADUATION CEREMONY. They're all crowded close together to make sure they fit into the frame, and all of them are beaming, laughing. There are cherry blossoms showering down from just out of frame, catching in their hair and on their clothes.

One of them is Miss President. The other three are completely unfamiliar to you.

And they look... happy.

Standing out in the photo is the armband worn by the student council president at school – but it's not on Miss President's arm. Instead, it's worn by the smiling girl next to her with short, dark hair and gentle eyes.

She’s going to take a picture of the front of the photo with her phone, then turn it over. Is there anything written on the back?

There's a little note, in unfamiliar handwriting. By now, Etoile will have seen enough paperwork to know it doesn't belong to Miss President.

She’ll take a picture of the back of the photo, too, before putting it back where she found it, unless there’s something else unusual about it?

Nothing else unusual apart from the fact that it feels old. It's in pristine condition, as if some effort has been made to keep it that way, but – and maybe this is just with her awareness as an Executor – Etoile will be able to tell that it's much, much older than it looks.

Aside from that, there's nothing else unusual in the snack cupboard.

She’ll make a note of that, before carefully putting the photo back where she found it, then neatly putting everything else in the cupboard away. Before she leaves the room, she’s going to take a look at Miss President’s desk - is there anything out of place?

Nothing out of place on the desk! She can look through the paperwork on there if she likes, but there isn't any new information in it.

Anywhere else?

She's going to look through it, then look around. Does anything look out of place by the table she and Monarch were at during the meeting?

It looks like someone might have been in here between the last meeting and Etoile's visit now. A couple stacks of papers have been moved around and there's some paperwork in front of Miss President's usual seat.

She’s absolutely going to take a look at the papers.

The papers seem to be the same ones that she'll have seen Miss President with during Student Council meetings – but now that she's up close and she's taking the time to examine them, Etoile will get that same sense of age from the papers as she did from the photo. They're not quite as old, but there's still that same sense that they've existed for a much, much longer time than you'd expect.

How old are we talking? Also, what’s written on the papers?

It's difficult to tell exactly but it's definitely somewhere in the region of old as balls. Definitely a lot younger than the photo, at least.

As for the contents, it looks to be the schedule for the festival.

Let’s take a closer look at the schedule. Does anything stand out?

The fact that it's absolutely packed is probably the most notable. There's been additions made to it through the years up to the point where it just flat out isn't realistic, especially for a team as small as the student council.

Almost like the person writing it didn't have the heart to turn anybody's requests down, no matter how ridiculous the schedule got.
