With Esme's iron-fisted reign brought to an end and the Executors given time to take a very well-earned break, it finally comes down to descend to the next layer of Purgatory. Thankfully, with this being the group as a whole's second descent, things are a little less nerve-wracking this time around... maybe. Hopefully. ... Probably. Welcome to Avaritia. [At some point, even Chiron has enough of the rain and the sop and the wet. Thankfully, there are still all manner of clothes (dry) and goodies (also dry) up above, and it's just a hop and skip and jump (and slip and slide) to obtain a few more items.

So Ruin will find an umbrella held over his head, slowly twirling between fingers.]

You look not unlike a half-drowned coeurl out here. We ought get you inside and see if someone might be magnanimous enough to lend some towels.

[Chiron slides up beside him and Ruin blinks, surprised at the violently pink umbrella but almost immediately huddles in against the other redhead's side leaning his head on his shoulder in misery.]

No. I'm going back up, this... this isn't worth it.

[As though he won't be bored and restless in approximately 1.3 hours.]

Nonsense! [pat pat pat] Just get you inside, get you a proper hat or umbrella for going between buildings, and you'll be right as--

An umbrella isn't going to stop my feet from being soaked. And it's not going to make it any warmer.

[He hasn't exactly been bundled up in furs before now either. But he is... largely just being sulky.]

Boots! Or perhaps--oh, a bicycle, that might help you, and you'd get around speedier than ever. [OR A HORSE] I'm afraid all I can suggest for the temperature is warmer clothes, or more layers. Though I think the conbini might have something else, like...hm, like something to slip into shoes or gloves to keep them warm, I believe? I haven't played with them myself though.

I suppose if you must summon her from nothing, she wouldn't need sustenance. Hm.

In any event. If you truly hate it down here, you would not be the only one to find yourself retreating upwards for the time being.

I just don't like being.... wet and cold. I could deal if it were one or the other I think.

Wait, who else went back up? [He hasn't taken his phone out in this miserable weather, knowing his luck he'd drop it in a puddle.]

Lion seems to be suffering from headaches the lights are exacerbating, and the noise is too much for Phoenix to handle navigating on his own.

[There's something in his expression for a fleeting moment, something reminiscent of that dark bitterness that comes and goes as quickly as he's able to make it. A momentary thought at what Lion would be doing alone with probably the most devastatingly handsome man Ruin's ever laid eyes on before he shoves it away, stuffs it into a dark corner of his mind where all such thoughts go.

He tries to cover it with a dramatic wince. Nothing to see, just sympathy for the others.]

Oh. Yeah that's gotta be rough... maybe I should... I dunno take Lion something to cheer him up a bit.

Mona is bringing Lion something for the pain. I suggested sunglasses, so perhaps he'll make his way down yet. And I believe Phoenix would be far too proud to accept an escort, and even if he did want one, the noise still might be too much for him.

Hm. Have you two kissed and made up, you and Lion?

[Lion is devastating but Phoenix is more clean cut and he does greatly appreciate that.

That last bit definitely gets a reaction out of Ruin though. Brows shooting up in surprise and he sort of choke-coughs his next breath, scrubbing a hand through his wet hair and looking decidedly less casual than he'd like to be.]

I mean... he did sorta try to tear my lip off last time so not exactly. But... we're good? I think? Why did he say something?

[Nod and shrug and following. This is all fine it's not like he's invested or anything. It's not like he expects anything. As much as Lion still scares the shit out of him sometimes he's a good guy. Sweet, really.

Either way once they're inside he drops his armor and returns to his street clothes. Instantly dry! It's marvelous.]

This feels strangely ominous. You planning on giving me a shovel talk, Chiron?

[Chiron shakes off the worst from his umbrella, and a crease runs between his brows.]

No. I.... thought that's what you were going to give me a shovel talk about! You know, how I should "keep my no-good hands off him" or something. [Right? Obviously. Surely the only reason Chiron didn't do it immediately after the fact was that Lion had torn up his face. Clearly no reason to worry about it then.
