It's Vegas, baby! Oh wait, I already made that joke on the location page... With Esme's iron-fisted reign brought to an end and the Executors given time to take a very well-earned break, it finally comes down to descend to the next layer of Purgatory. Thankfully, with this being the group as a whole's second descent, things are a little less nerve-wracking this time around... maybe. Hopefully. ... Probably. Welcome to Avaritia. Feel free to use this arrival log to chronicle your initial misadventures in the Greed Layer of Purgatory. It's... a pretty painless process! There's some boring paperwork but with this being Purgatory, it's all just a lot of mindlessly signing documents that probably don't mean anything. Before they can give her the card to access her vault, though, the teller informs her that she'll need to deposit something – an item or money, it's up to her – to go inside her vault.

if an executor leaves their weapon somewhere, can they dematerialise it and summon it back to their hand later

GREAT. mona will let the employees know she'll be right back with an item she'd like kept in the vault, and duck outside to discreetly summon her ranseur. she returns with it to be secured!

if she should ever need to, she'll be able to accuse them of lax security and allowing her property to be stolen, given the vault that will soon be empty...

The ranseur seems to be acceptable collateral! The staff take it off her hands and ask her to follow them, so they can lead her down to her new vault.

They take her through a door leading into the back of the building and into what looks to be a gigantic warehouse, wall to wall with shelves containing safes of varying sizes, but all of them are at least small enough to be picked up and carried. As the staff explain, Mona is being given one of the starter vaults, but she will be free to upgrade to the larger vaults that are stored deeper underground as she deposits more items of value or money.

good to know! she'll leave things at that for now, since she can't case the joint much more without an actual plan in motion. she thanks all of the employees very kindly for their time and help.

she will ask, out of curiosity of course, if they have a lot of clients who require their largest vaults? she just wants to be reassured that she can trust them with handling a significant fortune.

The teller will be happy to assure her that plenty of their clients use their largest vaults and they've never had an issue when it comes to security. Anything she puts into her vault will be perfectly safe – but of course, she'll understand if, for privacy purposes, they can't divulge any of their security protocol to her.
