It's Vegas, baby! Oh wait, I already made that joke on the location page... With Esme's iron-fisted reign brought to an end and the Executors given time to take a very well-earned break, it finally comes down to descend to the next layer of Purgatory. Thankfully, with this being the group as a whole's second descent, things are a little less nerve-wracking this time around... maybe. Hopefully. ... Probably. Welcome to Avaritia. Feel free to use this arrival log to chronicle your initial misadventures in the Greed Layer of Purgatory. There's several stands with food and such
The big temple looking building is about a stone's throw away

[ He means the casino but he... does not know what a casino and probably wouldn't recognize it if he did anyway, oops. ]

Food stands by the casino could be a lot of places. You come to me. Should be pretty easy to spot a redhead on a damn horse around here

I have been told I am also quite easy to spot with my height and wings, so one of us will surely see the other eventually.

There's another pause though ]

That building is a casino? Are you also around there?

[Working? Pfft. Though he needs to put his phone down if he's going to actually find Beast.

Sure enough, before too long, Beast will hear a sharp whistle over the crowd of people coming and going as Ruin tries to maneuver his horse around people and food stands both.]

[ His wings and shoulders raise a little in surprise when he hears the whistle but a looking over he sees it's Ruin and relaxes once again. He heads over right away. ]

Oh may, you really weren't kidding about the horse.

[ He's actually kind of impressed that he's been able to maneuver her around all these people. ]

[He may have bumped into a few people and had to go pretty slow but... she's also a really big horse. No one wants to get in her way either.]

Did you think I was? [A laugh as he leans forward to pat her neck before he dismounts and, after one more scritch, dismisses her back into the ether.]

So uh... food?

Ah yes! Food!

[ His face lights up. Even with this kind of day he can still look forward to food at least. He talks as he looks around, taking stock of what stands are nearby. ]

This is very kind of you, by the way. I know we have not had much chance to speak since you joined us, so I do appreciate this.

[ Even though he lives at the Limbo House he was just so absorbed with song writing and other things back in Invidia. ]

[Beast was doing the writing thing, Ruin was trying to teach the girls how to dance... it was a hectic time. And then he sort of fucked off after the underside opened up because he was beating himself up for not being better at off the cuff plans. It's understandable. Ruin just waves a dismissive hand.]

Don't worry about it. [Though his nose is definitely leading him in the direction of something spicy. He doesn't remember it but he's never really had much spice so exotic foods~ yes good~]

You ever had... whatever this is?

[ Beast follows Ruin, also interested in this particular smell and looks the stand over. "Tacos", hmm... ]

Ah-- no, I have not. Most of these foods are entirely new to me actually but that just makes me even more excited to try them.

[ His smile widens as he gives the selection another glance. ]

Truthfully so long as I can have it without meat I'll give pretty much anything a try.

[ And thankfully he sees the taco stand does indeed have a vegetarian taco option. Purgatory is so accommodating! ]

Oh? Don't like meat?

[That seems odd to him even though he can't say why exactly. (Anyone that's spent time around Raphael would be dumbfounded over someone that doesn't eat meat, okay.) But he shrugs, falling into line to order......

Well at least one of everything they have. Tacos, burritos, churros, empanadas, in every variety he can. The poor specter running the stand gives him a look that is very much unamused but as long as he's got cash...]

Er- that... that's gonna take a minute.

[If the stand owner's grumbling is anything to go by it'll be a helluva lot more than "a minute".]

Mmm, less that and more that it's just a cultural thing where I'm from.

[ He waits patiently as Ruin orders though and oh... goodness... that's a lot. But he really can't judge because this is definitely something he would do, his dietary restrictions aside. ]

That's quite all right, I do not mind the wait. I understand the temptation to try everything quite well in fact; I did this numerous times with the vendors in Invidia once I discovered they would accept my feathers as payment. It's hard to pick just one thing when everything is so new and appetizing!

[ It's a wonder his wings aren't plucked bald after all that honestly. ]
